Re: GPD WIN: A handheld game console that can run AAA games smoothly
It will have a touch screen, but no mention of a stylus yet. You can use any stylus that works on a capacitive display. Capacitive touchscreens are the least accurate ones, but they work well with solid glass screens that are not vulnerable to damage. My Samsung Q1UP had a resistive touchscreen that was very accurate, and worked will with a stylus. Capacitive touch screens are not as accurate.
Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, the screen should be changed to resistive instead of capacitive because it's a clamshell design that doesn't have a vulnerable screen like the Samsung Q1UP had. I think the choice to use capacitive was solely because that's what everyone uses. Gorilla Glass provides no benefit. A resistive touchscreen is probably a better choice. On a small screen with high resolution, an accurate stylus makes the system totally like a full PC. Just put a screen protector sheet on it, and replace it when it gets worn, so you reduce wear on the actual screen.
I like to maximize RAM as much as possible. I would use up to 32 GB RAM if the GPD WIN were my main PC. That said, the fact it has an SSD means RAM is less important, because SSD's are nearly as fast as RAM, compared to a mechanical hard drive. The RAM isn't upgradable, so it's important to get it right the first time. Maybe there will be no significant performance improvements with more than 8 GB RAM?

Also, with this have stylus and a touch screen?
Support touch screen, also supports capacitive stylus!
But will not upgrade to 16GB of memory!

Yes, support for capacitive stylus!
7y30 only supports up to 16GB of memory!
WIN 2 is currently determined to use 8GB of memory.
Re: GPD WIN: A handheld game console that can run AAA games smoothly
Will this be kickstarter at $599.00?
Telcast same Core 7Y30 X5 8gb 12.5 screen runs $516.00 AliExpress. GPD WIN 2 will be overpriced at $599.00!
at 16gb RAM, that can be justifiable, but 8gb? Way too much.

Anybody can make a 12.5 inch laptop, including Teclast:
http://www.teclast.com/en/products.html
The GPD WIN 2 does more with less. The UMPC's time has come once again, and this is a good indicator that the market is ready for the GPD WIN 2:
https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20180104005222/en/Nintendo-Switch-Fastest-Selling-Home-Video-Game-System
The GPD WIN 2 can do everything. I don't need to buy a laptop, I don't need to buy gaming console, I don't need to buy a tablet or smartphone. As I have said before in a previous post here, $599 is a very good deal considering previous entrants in the UMPC market cost $1200 when new, and were unable to do any significant gaming.
I'm using one of my Samsung Q1UP's right now to make this post. Soon I will have a GPD WIN 2 instead, and my Samsung Q1UP's can finally retire.

Your hate is outdated. The dispute at Panatag seems to have been resolved in August 2016, more than 1 year ago:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarborough_Shoal
Kalayaan is an abandoned military base claimed by Vietnam, Taiwan, France, Japan, Philippines, and eccentric Filipino businessman Tomás Cloma as his own private country. It has been in dispute since at least the 1940's, but it's so insignificant, nobody has cared enough to argue about it since the 1970's:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalayaan,_Palawan
There are only 184 people that live there, and nobody is bothering them. So, once again, it appears your hate for China is outdated.

Hello, crowdfunding platform is indiegogo, crowdfunding price is 599 dollars!
The reason why Telcast X5 is cheaper, first, Telcast is an Intel partner, although Telcast's product quality control has always been the worst, But it can get the lowest price processor.
Second, Teclast uses public molds without mold costs.
Finally, Teclast's owner, who initially sold IT digital gadgets in Guangzhou, was one of the earliest PCs to make PC accessories after it entered China. In 1999, the business group (sk1999.com) was established. At that time, the merchant's offline channels Throughout China, they rely on cheap products to occupy China's third-tier markets. The reason why they can be sold so cheap is because the materials used are the worst, and the product cost can be kept low through cheap dumping.
Note that the Teclast X5 has no active thermal design and no keyboard or joystick. You know, X5's internal structure is only the motherboard and battery.
