Now the GPD Pocket 2 is unveiled, it's time to make a Pro version ! The GPD Pro!

- Same form factor as the original GPD pocket, you may make it half an inch longer but not taller so as we can still hold in our palm. You can make edges slimmer like on the GPD 2 but if you do it, do it all around otherwise it doesn't look as premium.
- Still aluminium case but with the cool darker colour such as the space gray MacBooks, keep the GPD logo discrete on the bottom case as on the current Pocket
- 8 inch display with laptop type video controller for full os compatibility without having to setup a rotation
- Built-in webcam (on the side in order to not make it taller or a small in the top middle if you can fit it there)
- Latest gen Intel Core M CPU with its integrated GPU (a faster version with faster GPU than on the GPD Pocket 2)
- 8GB / 16GB of RAM options
- 256GB of SSD storage (real SSD not eMMC!)
- SD card slot or flush micro sd card slot (for one to be able to extend the storage 100% internally)
- 1 standard USB + Dual USB-C ports with power and Thunderbolt 3 at least on one of them
- Ful-size HDMI port with audio (we could do without it if you do put Thunderbolt 3 though)
- Keep the headphones jack port
- Standard keyboard layout with touch bar like on the Pocket 2 but with backlight (yes you can do it!)
- Most standard components and BIOS for out-of the box OS compatibility with different distros/OS
- Price-range: $550-650 max (otherwise it won't be competitive with 9-10 inch laptops market).

With such specs, it will would probably be my favorite laptop for travelling, gaming, djing and some occasional work.

The Core M CPU should also have us dreaming of a Hackintosh out of it! Let's see if the GPD 2 already allows it Smile
