A New Update About Keyboard Layout

Hi!
Does your company plan to release a new version of the GPD WIN with the corrected location of keys R3 and L3?

I'd love to have them close to the analog sticks, like on the GPD XD.

Dear customer, currently we have no plan to release a new version of GPD WIN the the corrected L3 and R3 location. Because of the mold components, we can not change the position of the location.

Staggered keys are from the Remington mechanical keyboard made in the year 1873. It is shameful to use such a backward and primitive keyboard. These are better:

Are your molds steel or aluminum? Aluminum wears out faster, but it also allows for faster cooling of the newly made plastic components. Aluminum molds are also MUCH cheaper to make, especially because it's softer, so it's faster to polish. Using aluminum molds can make your revision cycle much quicker, so you can improve the design with each new mold. If you plan on making lots of molds, your mold makers can invest the effort to efficiently automate mold production. Then, small changes can be easily incorporated into each new mold with minimal cost.

Making each of your molds less expensive and faster makes it easier for your technology to advance, and prices to drop. You might be able to run 1 aluminum mold faster than 2 or 3 steel molds.
