New GPD WIN, missing "Kionix Sensor Fusion Device"?

I have a brand new GPD WIN device (Z8750 version), the date in the box is 2017-03-11. The BIOS version and date that was preloaded on it is 5.11 2/21/2017.
The system has been clean installed with Windows 10 Creators Update and the driver pack and wifi patch installed. Everything works well.
However,
There is no "Sensor" category in Device Manager, and no "Kionix Sensor Fusion Device". I tried installing the driver manually from the driver pack, but nothing happens.
Windows does not think the display is auto-rotate capable.
Is this expected? Is it an effect of the 2/21/2017 BIOS?
Can anyone confirm is there is a g-sensor "Kionix Sensor Fusion Device" on their GPD WIN, if it is running the 5.11 2/21/2017 BIOS?
How do I install the driver?
Do I need to downgrade the BIOS?
